Acer has launched its new — Nitro 16 — gaming laptop in the Indian market. The laptop comes with a 16-inch display and features a relatively compact design. The laptop is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 processor and GeForce RTX 40 series graphics. The Nitro 16 comes equipped with the latest AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS octa-core processor, it is available in two versions – one with the NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 4060 (8 GB of dedicated GDDR6 VRAM) and the other with the 4050 (6 GB RAM).The Acer Nitro 16 has a 16-inch LCD display bearing a WUXGA resolution and 400 nits peak brightness. It features a 165Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time. There is a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard and a Nitro Sense key. The laptop is equipped with dual 2W stereo speakers and a 720p HD webcam.Under the hood, the Acer Nitro 16 houses an AMD Ryzen 7 7840 octa-core processor. It is offered in two GPU options – one with GeForce RTX 4050 with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM and another with GeForce RTX 4060 with 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The laptop packs up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 512GB SSD storage. For heat dissipation, the machine is equipped with a powerful cooling system that comprises dual fans, dual intake, quad exhaust, and liquid metal grease.
The laptop has a host of connectivity features such as an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card reader, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port with power-off charging, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 4.0 port, Killer Ethernet E2600, Bluetooth v5.1, and Wi-Fi 6E. Last but not least, users also can maximize their system performance by utilizing the laptop’s Gen 4 memory slots, while the DDR5 storage slots enable quicker data access and transfer speeds.In terms of connectivity, it offers HDMI 2.1, a MicroSD card reader, USB 4, Killer Ethernet E2600, Wi-Fi 6E, and a USB HD camera with Temporal Noise Reduction. The laptop also features Stereo speakers, runs on Windows 11 Home, and is available in Obsidian Black colour.
