AMD has announced its new Ryzen 9 7945HX3D mobile processor, claiming the world+s faster mobile gaming processor, and bringing 3D vertical cache memory to the mobile CPU range. This new chip brings 3D V-cache technology to gaming laptops, which improves power and efficiency when gaming or running demanding apps. AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D has been launched as part of the company’s 4 nm Ryzen Zen 4 “Dragon Range” lineup.
AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX3D specifications:- The processor comes with a 16-core architecture with 32 threads. Its processing speed is rated to go up to 5.4GHz. As mentioned, the new CPU also brings AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology to gaming laptops. However, the L3 Cache has been upgraded from 64MB on the normal CPU to a staggering 144MB with 3D V-Cache. AMD has reduced the maximum operating temperature to 89C on this CPU.The dual-channel DDR5 memory support and 28 PCIe Gen5 lanes. The TDP is at 55+W and AMD had a neat slide showing performance improvements at various power envelopes, claiming up to 23 percent faster performance at 40W TDP.
