AMD has now confirmed official performance for its upcoming 8-core Ryzen 7 CPU with 3D V-Cache. Only a few benchmarks were shared from handpicked titles, so this is definitely too early to draw final conclusions. The 7800X3D has 8 cores, L3 cache of 96MB, TDP rated at 120W and boost clock up to 5.0 GHz. That’s 15W higher TDP than 8-Core Ryzen 7 7700X and 400 MHz lower boost clock compared to non-X3D SKU. This CPU was compared to 24-core Core i9-13900K processor, the second-best Raptor Lake desktop CPU from Intel. What may be important to note is that both the 7800X3D and 13900K systems were equipped with the same DDR5-6000 memory kit.
