The concept of placing all power and interface connectors on the other side is not new. Motherboard manufacturers have been experimenting with this idea for the last couple of years. We have seen the prototypes from MSI (Project Zero) or Gigabyte (Project Stealth). The TUF Gaming B760M BTF is a Micro-ATX design based on, thus far, the most affordable Intel 700 chipset. The basic idea of this motherboard is to provide all necessary connectors and headers on the other side of the motherboard. This means that cable management would be much simpler with easier access to most connectors, but only as long as the PC case has all the necessary holes.
ASUS has decided to put DDR4 memory on this board, meaning it should be even cheaper to build a system around it. Officially it supports up to 4xDDR4-5333 overclocked memory. Furthermore, users will find 2.5Gb Ethernet port and even WiFi-6 built-in.
