ASUS unveils new Radeon RX 7900 TUF series: 3 x 8-pin power connectors

Asus will offer two Radeon RX 7900-series graphics cards within its TUF Gaming family, including the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX with 6,144 stream processors and 24GB of GDDR6 memory featuring a 384-bit interface as well as the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT with 5,376 stream processors and 20GB of GDDR6 memory featuring a 320-bit bus and three 8-pin power connectors on the XTX model, a 3.63-slot card, similar to the XT version. ASUS is recommending that they be paired with one of its new TUF Gaming PSUs, available in wattages of up to 1,000 watts with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency.

TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XT
  • 20 GB of GDDR6 RAM, 5,376 stream processors, 320-bit memory interface
  • Many of the same design elements as the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 7900 XTX
  • Die-cast frame to the aluminum shroud and backplate, 3.63-slot design
  • 3D acrylic TUF logo with ARGB lighting on the edge of the shroud
  • Same total board power (TBP) as the last-gen RX 6900 XT
