After three years, DJI has finally released the Osmo Pocket 3, a new version of its popular pocket-sized gimbal camera. The new model features several upgrades, including a larger sensor, a rotating touchscreen, and improved intelligent features. This gives the camera better low-light performance and the ability to shoot in 4K resolution at 120fps. The camera also has 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG colour modes, which give users more flexibility in post-production. The new 2-inch touchscreen can be rotated to horizontal or vertical orientation, making it easy to shoot for social media or other platforms.
Like previous Pockets, the Osmo Pocket 3 uses a 3-axis gimbal to stabilize shots, while DJI has also packed improved tracking features on its software that better tracks subjects as it moves along, a built-in three-mic array reduces wind noise and captures omni-directional stereo sound. While it can be fast charged to 80% in just 16 minutes, this is a big improvement over its predecessor which creators will greatly appreciate.
