GALAX introduces its new GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER HOF OC Lab in Master-X and Master Editions, with a beautiful all-white design including the PCB. The GALAX HOF (Hall of Fame) graphics cards are now rolling out in new RTX 40 SUPER series cards now that NVIDIA has introduced its new GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4080 SUPER graphics cards into the wild. GALAX is introducing a new look for its HOF OC Lab series graphics cards, with plans to release all RTX 40 SUPER cards, starting with the RTX 4070 SUPER. The RTX 4070 Super uses an AD104-350 graphics processor with 7158 CUDA cores, which is 21% more than the regular RTX 4070. For the reference version of the RTX 4070 Super, NVIDIA announced a GPU boost frequency of 2475 MHz. Non-referenced RTX 4070 Super models from NVIDIA partners offer additional factory overclocking of the graphics chip to 2500-2600 MHz. The Galax version received a factory overclock of the GPU to a frequency of 2685 MHz, which is 210 MHz above the NVIDIA reference specifications. Furthermore, this is 30MHz higher than one of the most powerful RTX 4070 Super on the market – the Aorus Master version with a maximum TDP of 350W from Gigabyte that was recently discussed.
Galax specifies a nominal power consumption of 250 W for the RTX 4070 Super HOF OC Lab, the user-configurable maximum power limit is 320 W. The Galax graphics card comes with an adapter from three 8-pin to one 12+4-pin 12VHPWR power connector included (two 8-pin connectors are not enough for cards with a TDP greater than 300W). The Galax RTX 4070 HOF LC Lab Master-X graphics card is equipped with an advanced power supply subsystem with a 12+3 phase circuit and a powerful XDPE10281 controller. They support dual BIOS with performance and sleep mode. The manufacturer has not provided any information about the features of the master version (without “X”). Galax HOF LC Lab graphics cards are equipped with a huge three-slot cooling system that includes three fans. In addition, the cooling system uses eight heat pipes, two with a diameter of 8 mm and six with a diameter of 6 mm, as well as a large, nickel-plated copper contact plate measuring 93.5 × 73.5 mm.
