Jio has added a new feature phone with an aim to make 4G more accessible to people in India. The highlight of the phone is support for JioPay which allows users to make UPI payments. On the aesthetic side, it looks like a classic alphanumeric keypad feature phone with both matte and glossy finish and a 2.4” display. It also supports JioCinema and JioSaavn. The feature phone runs ‎Threadx RTOS and comes with ‎0.05GB of RAM. The phone houses a single nano SIM and supports ‎Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and USB connectivity. The phone supports 4G connectivity and has expandable memory up to 128GB, via a microSD card. It packs a 2,000mAh battery, that is said to offer a standby battery life. The phone also has support for 23 languages making it easier for people to opt for the one they want for reading.
