Lenovo has recently announced the new Flex 5 Chromebook, which comes with a 14-inch flip touch screen and a Core i5-1334U processor. The Lenovo Flex 5 Chromebook comes with a 14-inch flip touch screen that can be rotated 360 degrees. This allows users to use it in different modes, such as laptop, tablet, tent, or stand mode. The touch screen is also compatible with a digital pen, which can be used to take notes, draw, or sketch. It supports 1920 x 1200p resolution, a brightness of 300 nits, a 45% NTSC colour gamut, and a 60Hz refresh rate.
The model maintains a slim and portable design, measuring 19.8mm in thickness and weighing 1.58kg. It offers a variety of ports, including two USB-C ports, a USB-A port, a microSD card slot, and a headphone/microphone combo jack, enhancing connectivity and allowing for the attachment of various peripherals. The Chromebook includes 8GB of LPDDR4x-4266 RAM for efficient multitasking and responsiveness. It offers various storage options, including 128GB eMMC 5.1, as well as larger and faster choices like 256GB or 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSDs. The Chromebook includes stereo speakers (2W x2) that are optimized with Waves MaxAudio®, enhancing audio quality. Alongside it also sports a 1080p webcam with fixed focus. Under the hood, the laptop is equipped with an integrated Li-Polymer 51Wh battery.
