LG Business Solutions announced the LG ProBeam BU53RG short throw 4K UHD projector as a replacement to the LG ProBeam BU53PST projector. The new ProBeam BU53RG includes webOS 6.0 Signage, a web-based digital signage platform that has display features including support for streamlined tools to tie into a larger webOS digital signage network. With the ability to display a large high-resolution image in tight spaces, thanks to its 0.94 to 1.14 throw ratio, the new ProBeam BU53RG is native 3840×2160 4K UHD resolution with a 5,000 ANSI lumen rating, using DLP technology. Lens shift control includes 20 percent horizontal and 50 percent vertical and it ships with a 1.2x zoom lens supporting aspect ratios 16:9, 16:10, 16:6 and 21:9. The ProBeam BU53RG includes Bluetooth audio out with sync control, native MiraCast screen sharing capability and HDMI ARC channel for connection to an AV receiver. It includes two HDMI inputs, two USB inputs, one RJ45 port, RS-232C and a 3.5mm audio out port to ensure compatibility with existing peripherals and control systems.
