At its annual hardware event held last month, Microsoft announced a host of Surface devices. Now the Redmondo-based company has brought the Surface Laptop Go 3 to the Indian market. The new Surface Laptop Go 3 is powered by an Intel 12th Gen Core i5-1235U processor built on the Alder Lake mobile architecture. This i5-1235U has a total of 2 P-cores & 8 E-cores, and with hyper-threading technology, you get a 10-core, 12-threaded configuration on this CPU. The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 has a 12.4-inch display bearing a resolution of 1,536 x 1,024 pixels. It offers touchscreen functionality along with 330 nits’ peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass protection. On the audio front, the laptop is equipped with Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio premium and dual far-field studio mics. There is a 720p front-facing camera. The Surface Laptop Go 3 features a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button with Windows Hello authentication. The RAM can be configured up to a total of 16GB LPDDR5 and 256GB SSD. The device is powered by a 40Wh battery cell that is claimed to offer 15 hours of usage. Software-wise, it runs on Windows 11 OS with the company’s AI companion called Microsoft Copilot. And its port selection includes a USB 3.1 port (Type-A), a USB 3.2 Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and also the proprietary Surface Connect port.
