One-Netbook has just announced its new OneXGPU, a new external device with an AMD Radeon RX 7600M GPU, M.2 SSD slot, and more. The new OneXGPU features an AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT, which uses the Navi 33 GPU and 8GB of GDDR6 memory. OCulink support, which can deliver up to 63Gbps of bandwidth… much better than Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, and USB4, which are all limited to just 40Gbps. Apart from the Radeon GPU, the OneXGPU portable module has a dedicated slot to mount an M.2 2280 SSD, providing consumers with an additional storage option. To top things up, OneXGPU comes with a sleek design that has curved edges, with an RGB strip running along them to provide a decent look. Â The I/O includes an Ethernet port, two each for HDMI and DisplayPort connectors, two Type-A USB ports, one USB-C port, and finally one OCuLink port.
The eGPU is also compatible with USB4/TB4 but will operate at lower transfer speeds versus the dedicated OCULINK port which runs over the PCIe lanes. However, for devices such as the OneXPlayer handheld, these modules can be a big boost if you are planning to use the portable solutions on a high-res display.
