Philips has introduced its newest product designed for office use – the 49B2U5900CH ultra-wide monitor featuring a spacious 48.8-inch VA panel. This monitor is tailored to meet the needs of individuals seeking an effective workspace solution. It utilises a VA panel with a 178 by 178 degree viewing angle and a 3000:1 contrast ratio providing complete image clarity from any angle. A DisplayHDR 400 certification and a large colour gamut with 1.07 billion colours are included. It covers NTSC 97% and sRGB 119% colour gamut’s, and it is HDR DisplayHDR 400 certified. The connectivity options include HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C inputs, providing versatile compatibility for various devices.

 The display also incorporates features like Adaptive Sync, Smart Image, and Smart Uniformity ranging from 93% to 105%. The display comes with a variety of features to make it more than just a monitor including its Busy light located at the top of the monitors built 5MP webcam. The Busy light can sync with Microsoft Teams statuses to let colleagues know whether others are on call, the webcam also integrates with Windows Hello for logging in with facial recognition. A built-in headset holder is also a good companion to the webcam providing a convenient and sturdy place to place your headphones when not in use. It also has a KVM switch, so you can manage multiple systems with one keyboard and mouse. The USB-C docking station enables 100W of power delivery too, so you can swiftly charge or power additional devices.
