Samsung has just announced its latest portable smart projector. The company’s new Freestyle Gen 2 is the successor to the original Freestyle portable projector that launched earlier this year. Now, the latest model brings various improvements to let you turn any wall or ceiling into a large screen for entertainment. Samsung simultaneously introduced the Gen 2 Freestyle projector and the Gaming Hub. This essentially means that you can now enjoy your favourite Xbox and partner brand titles without a console. As a portable projector, it can also be paired with a separately sold external battery case. This will allow you to use the projector while travelling. The Freestyle Gen 2 arrives with support for more than 3,000 games from streaming partners like Nvidia GeForce Now and Xbox.It also supports well-known streaming platforms, such as YouTube, Spotify, and Twitch. Consequently, users can access additional features while gaming. The projector outputs content in sizes ranging from 30 to 100 inches with Full HD (1920 x 1080p) resolution, supports HDR10+, Crystal Picture Engine, and more. It contains a 5W speaker that provides 360-degree sound for audio. Wireless options for connectivity include Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2. Samsung TV Plus operates on the Tizen operating system and supports the Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
