Starting with Sapphire, the company has launched its Radeon RX 7900 GRE Nitro+ OC variant. The Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 GRE Sapphire Nitro+ will feature a triple-slot and triple-fan design which is slightly different than the other two RDNA 3 offerings. The cooler seems to be borrowed from the RX 7900 XT NITRO+ LITE edition, lacking a vapor chamber and an ARGB strip on one side. This model features two 8-pin power connectors. Gamers have the option to choose the OC BIOS setting with a clock speed of 2395 MHz.The cooling solution also drops the use of a vapor chamber heat sink and goes with a standard aluminum-finned design with 5 copper heat pipes.
The PowerColor Radeon RX 7900 GRE Red Devil is a thinner version of the Radeon RX 7900 XT Red Devil. In addition, it is equipped with only two instead of three 8-pin power connectors. The manufacturer reports that the novelty received a 14-phase power supply subsystem with an 11 + 2 + 1 scheme. Three additional phases are used to power the memory chips. Three 100 mm fans and seven 6 mm heat pipes are used as part of the Red Devil model’s cooling system.
