Sennheiser has expanded its Ambeo Soundbar lineup in India with the new Ambeo Soundbar Plus and Ambeo Sub. The Ambeo Soundbar Plus is the world’s first 7.1.4 standalone soundbar which delivers an immersive cinematic experience. While the Ambeo Sub is a wireless subwoofer that adds deep, powerful bass to the soundbar.The AMBEO Soundbar Plus offers immersive 3D sound, created in collaboration with Fraunhofer-Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, just like the AMBEO Soundbar Max. The AMBEO Self-Calibration assesses a room’s acoustics and places seven virtual speakers around the listener, plus four overhead. It adjusts its sound to match the content being played and allows customization through presets, an equalizer, and the Smart Control App. Equipped with Dolby ATMOS, DTS:X, 360 Reality Audio, and MPEG-H Audio, users can even transform stereo and 5.1 content into 3D sound. The Sennheiser AMBEO Soundbar Plus utilizes the AMBEO|OS platform, supporting various music streaming services like Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and compatibility with Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri.
The new Ambeo Sub is a powerful subwoofer that delivers extremely deep bass. Powered by Ambeo virtualization technology and an 8″ high-end proprietary woofer, the Ambeo Sub can reach frequencies down to 27Hz, ensuring audiophile-grade bass quality. The Sub’s closed enclosure helps to further improve bass quality, while the multi-sub array technology allows users to connect up to four subwoofers for even more powerful bass.
