Sony α6700 Mirrorless Camera Launched in India

Sony has introduced a new mirrorless camera in India. The latest in the APS-C lineup is the α6700. It aims to empower creators at all levels in the country. As mentioned earlier, the Sony α6700 has a compact design offering great portability. It weighs just 493 grams. Dimension-wise, the camera measures 122 x 69 x 75.1 grams. There is a vary-angle 3-inch LCD monitor with touch support, a customizable dial, and an electronic viewfinder. This camera blends advanced still image and video features from the full-frame Alpha and Cinema Line series with the compact design of the α6000 series. The α6700 boasts a 26.0-megapixel APS-C back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor and is powered by Sony’s BIONZ XR processing engine, ensuring exceptional imaging performance in a compact form. It supports 4K video recording at up to 120fps, offers a wide dynamic range of 14+ stops, and features the S-Cinetone picture profile for professional-looking movie imagery without the need for colour grading. With support for the Creators’ App, the camera allows for easy uploads to cloud services. The α6700 also features a Screen Reader function that provides audible menu and video playback assistance, catering to a diverse range of creators.
