Sony has launched its all-new ZV-E1 vlogging camera in India with features like a 35mm full-frame image sensor, 4K video recording, and much more. The ZV-E1 has the same 12MP full-frame sensor found on the A7S III and the FX3, which is a very high-quality sensor with remarkable low light capabilities and 15+ stops dynamic range. It couples this with the same BIONZ XR image processor from those two other cameras, which should ensure nearly identical image quality.Powered by the BIONZ XR image processing engine, the ZV-E1 offers up to 8 times more processing power for improved performance, colour reproduction, and low-noise capabilities. It can shoot 4K video at 120fps and records 10-bit 4:2:2 video without pixel binning, ensuring high-resolution. The Dynamic Active Mode Stabilization is 30% more effective than the previous mode.
The camera offers support for Zoom Control and Control Time, allowing for high-quality time-lapse sequences with exposure intervals from 1 to 60 seconds. The ZV-E1 offers various creative features, including Cinematic Vlog Setting for a movie-like feel, Creative Looks for unique styles, and Product Showcase Setting for smooth focus transitions. It also provides in-camera time-lapse creation and high-performance 3 capsule microphones with windscreen for clear audio. The camera features a flexible side-opening LCD touchscreen that can be positioned at different angles. The Sony ZV-E1 runs on Sony’s powerful Z battery with USB PD fast charging. It’s tough against moisture and dust and has a sustainability focus. Vlogging with one hand is possible using a Shooting Grip with Wireless Remote Commander. Additionally, the camera functions as a 4K webcam for video calls on both PC and smartphone through USB.
