Sony has launched a new portable PlayStation gaming console called the PlayStation Portal Remote Player, specifically to provide the best cloud gaming experience. The PlayStation Portal remote player is the closest cloud gaming device to a real PS5. This is because it comes with all the features of the Dual Sense controller such as adaptive triggers and haptic feedback. With an 8-inch LCD screen boasting 1080p resolution at 60fps, the PlayStation Portal connects to your PS5 over Wi-Fi, allowing swift switching between your PS5 and the Portal. The company also said 15Mbps speed is required for an ‘optimal experience’. Additionally, Sony also announced a new Pulse Elite wireless headset with lossless audio support. These are over-ear headphones and are very suitable for gaming on this device or the PS5 itself. They also released wireless earbuds, called the Pulse Explore.
