TECNO has become the latest smartphone brand to foray into the laptop segment in India. The brand announced its first offering in the country called the MegaBook T1. The device was revealed alongside the POVA 5 series smartphones at the World Of TECNOlogy event. The MegaBook T1 was first launched at IFA last year. The Tecno Megabook T1 boasts a 15.6-inch FHD display that has 350 nits brightness. The display panel has TUV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, 100% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut, and adaptive DC dimming support. The laptop is powered by Intel’s 11th Gen Core i7 processor which is coupled with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. On the software side of things, the Megabook T1 runs Windows 11. Furthermore, the laptop also features a dual speaker with DTS Immersive Sound, as well as dual microphones with AI environment noise cancellation technology.Connectivity-wise, the Megabook T1 has several features such as two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 port, two USB Type-C ports, a HDMI port, Wi-Fi 6, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a TF Card reader. The laptop also features a 2MP webcam and a fingerprint sensor. This new offering from Tecno measures 14.8mm in terms of thickness and weighs about 1.48kg. Last but not least, the laptop packs a 70Wh battery which can be charged by using a 65W charging adapter. The company claims that the Tecno Megabook T1 can last for 17.5 hours on a single charge.
