Taiwanese tech giant Thermaltake, renowned for PC hardware, is now venturing into gaming monitors. They’ve unveiled two models: the TGM-I27FQ (27 inches) and TGM-V32CQ (31.5 inches). The TGM-I27FQ, with a QHD resolution (2560×1440), is tailored towards professional gaming use. It incorporates a 165 Hz refresh rate and fast IPS technology, ensuring both fluid motion and a high-fidelity image, especially during dynamic gameplay sequences. This 27-inch flat monitor also possesses a 1 ms response time (GtG), which minimizes screen lag and motion blur. Expect a contrast ratio of 1000:1, 400 nits brightness, 10-bit colour depth (8-bit + FRC), and a solid 95 percent DCI-colour coverage. It incorporates synchronization technologies such as NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium. Additionally, features like Ultra Shadow Boost enhance visibility in darker scenes, complemented by flicker-free and ultra-low blue light eye care functionalities.
The “TGM-V32C” presents a 32-inch gaming LCD display featuring a curved VA panel. Operating at a refresh rate of 170Hz with a 1ms response speed, it embraces synchronization technologies such as NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium. The display also incorporates Ultra Shadow Boost for enhanced visibility in dimly lit scenes and offers flicker-free and ultra-low blue light eye care features. With a 3000:1 contrast ratio, it promises deep blacks and DCI-P3 colour coverage of 90 percent.
Both monitors include two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone jack. The 27-inch model additionally features a USB 2.0 hub and a USB-C port (15W PD). They both offer tilt, rotation, height adjustment, pivot and VESA mounting (75 x 75 mm).
