It comes with an IP67 rating, making it fully waterproof and protected against sand, dust, and dirt, making it ideal for beach use. The speaker can be linked to another Malibu to form a stereo pair, and it is available in black and a new Desert Gray colour option.The speaker is equipped with a 3,600-mAh battery that powers dual 10-watt amplifiers. the speaker giving a playtime of up to 30 hours, extending to around 15 hours through 50k lux solar light charging. The solar cells can fully charge the battery, but the speaker also offers USB-C charging. Additionally, the accompanying app allows users to customize the sound profile and track the speaker’s live light-charging and historical data. If exclusively used in direct sunlight and left to recharge indoors by windows, the company thinks its speaker’s battery life could stretch on indefinitely.
